About Cookeville Outdoor Living

A locally owned landscaping company built around one idea: give Cookeville-area homeowners a plan built for this soil and this climate, in writing, before any work starts.

Our story

Why we started here

Cookeville Outdoor Living was built to serve one region well, the Cumberland Plateau and the Upper Cumberland towns around Cookeville, rather than trying to be a generic landscaping company that could operate anywhere. That focus shapes how we approach every property: the same clay soil, the same zone 7a growing conditions, and the same fescue-based lawns show up across nearly every yard we work on here, and treating those conditions seriously is the difference between landscaping that holds up and landscaping that needs to be redone in a year or two.

As a newer, locally owned business, we’re building our reputation one property at a time, with a free written estimate on every job and no work started without your sign-off. We’d rather earn trust through the work itself than through a long list of claims.
